Astrolabio is a software studio from Argentina. We make simple apps that do one thing well and look after what’s yours.
Calculated for Córdoba, Argentina. The stars are where they are right now.
The studio
With an astrolabe, reading the sky was enough to know the time and your latitude. Depending on no one.
We make software with that idea: clear tools that work when you need them and don’t ask for more than they must. We’re a small studio from Argentina, and we design, build and test every app ourselves.
Apps
Nivela is the first. We’re already thinking about the next one.
How we work
One thing, done well
Each app solves one specific problem. If something doesn’t help solve it, it stays out.
What’s yours is yours
An app shouldn’t ask for what it doesn’t need. Nivela, for example, doesn’t even have permission to use the internet.
Made for anyone to use
Good contrast, text that grows without breaking anything, screen readers and phones from years ago. In English and Spanish.
Tested before they ship
Automated tests on every change and, when it matters, the real device in hand.
